Suitable for any recipient, this recyclable card is foiled with gold to add that little bit extra. We are Paul & Samantha, a husband and wife team and the founders of Manta Makes.
Together with our three children and our menagerie of animals (including our 2 springer spaniels, a scorpion called Lobster and a Dalmatian crested gecko called Sebastian) we live on the edge of the New Forest. The idea for our business came to us on a dog walk around Sopley Common in 2015, when we both decided that it was time to try something new. Sam's passion for crafting and Paul's background in engineering formed the perfect creative storm, and together the idea for a bespoke wedding decor company started to take form.
Manta Makes began at our dining room table, with one laser engraver. The orders started to take off, and so to ensure we still had a table on which to eat, we moved the business into the shed at the bottom of the garden. Fast forward to today, and Manta Makes has become something beyond our wildest dreams. We now have a little team who help us design, make, pack and dispatch your orders, and we have relocated to our permanent base in Ringwood, Hampshire. Our range has expanded to include mugs, cushions, jewellery, keyrings, plaques and other gifts, and we are especially proud of our Christmas collection! We are proud to only use FSC certified wood, harvested ethically from sustainable forests, and are shifting towards making our packaging 100% recyclable.
